Introduction to the Runes Divination & Magic

The Runes are a complex system of magic and communication.  Given to humans by the God Odin; who sacrificed himself to himself, in order to gain their knowledge.  They are an alphabetic system that can be used in writing, as well as symbolically carrying individual meaning.  They are believed to be a living, energetic system, with each Rune potent in magical portent and capacity.  We will weave our way through the day, acquainting ourselves with this powerful system, while having enough time to enjoy ourselves together as well.

Suggested needs- A set of Runes (make them out of cardboard if you have to), the book Futhark by Edred Thorsson
